Recovering Unix Sysadmin. I learned to program on the TRS-80 starting around 1979, and programming was FUN then! A lot of what was fun about it was that you could very quickly get into simple graphical programs (128x64 screen rez!) but today, beginners to C++ are stuck with cout text-based programs. So my wife and I got the idea to try to help the beginning programmer have access to a very small set of simple 2D graphical tools in an environment that included some exercises to help them get started. We've made progress, but we sometimes feel we are in over our head with FeetWetCoding...
