sota is a new dynamic programming language borrowing from python, yaml, bash, ruby f#, perl and c|c#. It is a combination of the best these languages have to offer with a few new twists thrown in. It is written using a TDOP parser and will have an LLVM backend. I could use 3 or 4 dedicated programmers to help me accelerate progress.
I am the maintainer and lead designer of the sota programming language. I am not a compiler expert nor program in c++ often, until now. However, I have read and studied programming languages for years and catalogued changes I think would make an effective programming language. I don't have all the details worked out and I am sure there are some people and ideas that could add even more to the sota programming language.
The big three dynamic programming languages, perl, python and ruby are old. They date back to the late 80's, early 90's. There are more powerful tools to build languages now, namely LLVM. The trick is to write a parser to produce an AST and then let LLVM take over from there. Wanna help? Contact me
