Google and get the feel of GMP, get a bare basic knowledge of C++ and have a C++ IDE ready. It wouldn't hurt to have some SVN software installed as well (you would need it to get to the code). Also, tell me directly via email so I can set up a SVN account.

0The decimal limit.
I can compute more than just 275,000 digits of pi, its just that I cant write anything bigger to a file without crashing the program.

0The bit limit.
Maybe there is a way that can get more precision in bits but the current max can only get me about 1,000,000 bits of precision. I think its less precision I am asking for and more decimal places because there seems to be a finite limit on how much decimal places I can have and I would want to break that limit.
