      Add unit tests

      We currently do not have a lot of unit tests written. It would be extremely useful to be able to have complete collector unit testing coverage, so even examples for others to use to write a unit test for would be welcome.

      Documentation Improvements

      We currently have a wiki, but it is pretty bare bones. It would be extremely useful to get it fleshed out

Diamond is a python daemon that collects system metrics and publishes them to Graphite. It is capable of collecting cpu, memory, network, i/o, load and disk metrics. Additionally, it features an API for implementing custom collectors for gathering metrics from almost any source.
