Can you code? Can you Google? Can you do RegEx and pull text from a given URL? :)

I am yet to create a repository for the project. Start a project repository in sourceforge.net with basic project concept description and design. Sorry, been hell busy. This is neither "my" project, neither yours. Just team effort.

      So, Lets begin....... :)

Populate vendor URL from the internet

Search the Internet or various linux vendor website (Fedora Core, FreeBSD, Ubuntu, OpenBSD etc) to get URLs where they list linux/bsd compatible hardware for their platform. Also google for any reliable third party websites that maintains linux hardware compatible DB.

Write a program in Windows to raw output hardware vendor names of hardware currently installed in your system

No enough time, will hopefully begin someday...
