  Take a "Test Drive" through the app
  
  We have our test instance running at http://melange-demo.appspot.com/ You can run through the app there. Test for discrepancies and inform us. You can also file issues at http://code.google.com/p/soc/issues/entry

  Write Documentation
  
  Melange lacks good documentation at least for the Google Highly Open Participation TM (GHOP) module. We need a good and usable user documentation. You can take a test drive through GHOP part of Melange and start documenting it. If you want any help during the test drive you can contact the mailing list.

  The easiest is to pick the bug with Minimal, Easy or Fair efforts depending on your skills mentioned in the issue tracker.

  All Usability related changes
  
  Melange wants a big change in terms of usability. One of our developers is working on it big time. We want a lot of help if you know something about Usability, CSS and stuff.

Melange is a framework for representing Open Source contribution workflows, such as the existing Google Summer of Code TM (GSoC) program. Using this framework, it is possible to host Google Summer of Code programs (and other similar programs, such as the Google Highly Open Participation TM Contest, or GHOP) on Google App Engine.
