Q: I'd like to participate. How do I begin?

Good starting points are our webpage http://www.scons.org, and especially the Wiki ( http://www.scons.org/wiki ). Snoop around, and decide whether you might like the project. Then say "Hi" on our user mailing list scons-users@scons.org, and we'll take it from there. ;)
If you want to dive right in and hack away, visit http://www.scons.org/wiki/DeveloperGuide and read its introduction for getting pointers that lead you through our development process.
