go to usf.tuxfamily.org grab the latest build and test the game :)
report any bug or suggestions, or start hacking it/creating art if you feel like it, drop line to usf-game@irc.freenode.net (it's not a mail, it's IRC ;))

Q: Other than writing code, how can I contribute?
-
0Artworks, we need more nice characters, with interesting attacks.
You can try to balance the existing characters too, or create/edit levels (levels are simpler).

Q: What's a good bug for a newcomer to tackle?

Q: What is a bug or issue with ultimate-smash-friends that you've been putting off, neglecting, or just plain avoiding?
-
0Networking, I keep comming back to it, but it's far from done, and move slowly.
it may involve work on core engine, and sockets… serialisation/unserialisation of game state should not be too hard, but it's not self evident.
