I'm job searching, and currently expanding on my strongest skill of embedded C by almost completing a Python class. Someone suggested getting involved in an open hatch project, while job searching, to keep skills fresh, expand on them, and someone suggested investigating RTEMS on open hatch, since my 18 years of professional experience up until 3 years ago was in embedded systems. I'm just at the investigation stage at this point, and really don't know if this is right for me, so would like to get further information.
