A fork of the OpenSolaris operating system, OpenIndiana brings some of the best UNIX technologies (ZFS, Zones, SMF, Crossbow, COMSTAR, FMA...) to the public domain.
As the project founder, my involvement is primarily to help organise OpenIndiana although I'm by all means not the only one involved in this gargantuan task (and if you're interested in helping, please get in touch...).
