I greet you all - servants of light)))
I have this interesting idea of creating a Global File System which spread around of millions of PCs in the world and most of the world’s data resides on this file system after deduplicated.
So basically, a home (or not) user installs a client which assigns pats of the user’s PC resources (CPU, RAM, Disk Space, Network) to a global file system. All of the resourced added each to the corresponding pool.
The concept of work is similar to that of Bitcoin but for a different purpose.
A user with client installed can upload the files he wants to share with the world and also personal (not shared) data(limited size) which can be accessed later on from every computer connected to internet.
So for example when a big web site like FB decides to run from Global File System, parts of that site located on multiple computers around the world and when a request for a web page comes from a user (with GFS client installed), all of the computers hosting the parts of that web page transferring those parts over the network to that User’s computer.
Each request sent to GFS is handled in the similar manner.
Users can search the global file system for files(movies/mp3/ebooks/pdf for example).
More resources the user contributes to the GFS he gets a better handle (performance) of his requests.

I am just the one who got the idea and have some forecast of how it should be in a future. I want this to work and believe that the information should be spread among all of us and not concentrated at gigantic Cloud providers.
